Ir. Daan Bruggink is a sustainable architect and founder of ORGA architect. His work is inspired by nature and not only the shapes in his design, but also the natural principles and ratios can be found.
From the beginning of his career Daan Bruggink was interested in sustainable house design. He started his career at Stichting VIBA Expo where he worked as a project manager. After one year he switched to the opMAAT architectuur as a junior architect. Both places had in common that they were based on sustainable design for buildings and cities.
At the same time he started his own company named ORGA architect, which is specialized in ecological and sustainable constructions. After one year he devoted himself fully to his company and besides the sustainable constructions he also started to give advice on renovation of companies to the ecological design. In his work ecological, biobased and sustainable materials are commonly used.
Besides his company he works as a correspondent for Archined and De Architect and writes articles about ecological architecture and biobased constructions.
