This award is open only to those participating as Exhibitors in the 1st International Awards for Wellness 2012 (IWell 2012) and Wellness Industry Exhibition 2012 (WiEX 2012).
All entries must be new unless substantial modifications have been done to it since it was first competed in any other award.
An entry may be presented in the form of commercial samples, prototypes, models, articles, drawings, photos and texts.
Each registration form can only be used for one (1) entry only. Not more than one entry may be submitted on each form. Photocopies of entry form are accepted.
Each entry must be accompanied by an entry fee of RM 250 (Ringgit Malaysia: Two hundred fifty only). Payment must be made by bank draft/ money order/ cheque/ bank transfer? ... made payable to Phyto Biznet? … CIMB Account No.?...The fee is refundable up to 48 hours prior to the event, should one withdraw from the award.
A security service will operate during the whole period of the Exhibition. However, the organizer shall not be held liable for the loss, theft or damage (due to fire or any other causes) of the exhibitor’s entry/ies during the Exhibition or during transit.
By his formal application to participate in IWell 2012 and WiEX 2012, every exhibitors undertakes to ensure the delivery of his entry/ies before 10.00 am 22nd June 2012 and to allow it remain on display during the whole Exhibition period. Any Exhibitor withdrawing his/ her entry/ies before the stipulated time shall render himself liable to pay damages and may cause the forfeiting of any award given to him.
The Exhibitor or his representative is required to be at the exhibit at all times during the Exhibition.
The decisions of the judges are final. Any complain will not be entertained.
YouWE 2012
This competition is opened to all students in primary, secondary and college levels.
A total of 15 prizes, five (5) for each category, will be awarded.
All entry must be student initiated. However, help from parents or friends are acceptable, but must be fully documented in the concept paper.
The judging criteria will be based on the followings:
Novelty – new, original, potential for multiple usage
Relevance – relevant to the theme of the competition
Visual presentation – clearly state the purpose, title, results, problem, conclusion, illustrations
User friendliness – easy to use, safe
Environmental friendliness – uses readily available materials, not a source of pollution
Cost effectiveness – affordable, durable
Commercial potential – possible market for the product
Participation is opened to individuals or groups. A group should consist of a maximum of three pupils only. Each entry must be submitted through the school/ college using the registration form.
All entry forms together with the concept paper that explain and illustrate the technical details of the invention must reach the Organizer’s office by 22nd May 2012. All concept papers submitted are not-returnable.
Results will be announced on the 30th May 2012 via email/ fax/ phone.
All 15 finalists will be invited to showcase their inventions during the 1st IWell 2012 at the Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur from 22 – 24 June 2012.
The best entry from each category may be sponsored for patenting.

Best Booth Category
The Best Booth categories are:
Best Standard Booth (3m x 3m)
Best Booth (> 18 m2)
Best New Booth (exclusive for FIRST TIME exhibitors, any size booth)
Most Creative Booth
Best Interactive Booth
Exhibitor’s Choice Award
Markings for all Best Booth Award categories will be equally distributed between the judges (50 %) and booth visitors (50 %). Only the Exhibitor’s Choice Award would be judged solely by the Exhibitor’s (each exhibitor gets one (1) vote only).
The judging criteria will be based on the followings:
Creativity, imagination and originality
Use of your product, images and visuals in the booth design
Enthusiasm of staff, friendliness and interaction with attendees
Promotional giveaways
Overall appearance
Apart from the listed judging criteria, the Most Creative Booth Award will be given to the booth that is most unique from the rest. It should be memorable for those who view it. However, it is important that the creativity that does not overshadow the exhibitor’s message about their product/ service, rather is a part of it.
Best Interactive Booth Award will be given to the booth that uses the most effective interactive method to attract visitors to their booth. The method must not only attract booth traffic, but also prospective customers to their business. Some examples include hosting game or having a product demonstration in which the visitor can participate.
